Whole-home backup during grid outages

The SmartGuard-63A-T0 is a control and transfer unit for Huawei residential PV systems with battery storage. When the grid fails it keeps the entire home supplied on all three phases, while the EMMA energy manager decides where generated and stored energy goes. It is designed for family homes that want electricity available even during grid faults.

Practical note

As part of the Huawei ecosystem, the unit is intended for use with SUN2000 inverters and LUNA2000 batteries. Its ability to integrate a heat pump makes it a good fit for homes that heat or cool electrically.
