Module-level optimisation

The Huawei MERC-1100-P Smart PV is an optimiser fitted to PV panels so that each of them operates at its own optimum point. It reduces the losses caused by shade, dust or dirt that would otherwise pull down the output of the whole string. It suits roofs with complex shapes, partial shading or panels facing different directions.

Choosing a version

The optimiser comes in a 0.1/5.1 m cable version and a 1.3/2.9 m cable version; the right length depends on how the panels are laid out on the roof. The higher-rated MERC-1300-P is also available. It is intended for Huawei systems monitored via FusionSolar.
